HW4 Grades Posted

Check your HW4 grades on myUCF Grades. Overall, they were very good. Only a few of you had issues that you couldn’t work through in time. I hope you guys enjoyed this HW, and that you’ll continue podcasting for fun!

Final Exam Questions

This is the obligatory Final Exam question and answer post to help guide your studying. You should start with the two previous exams, continue by reviewing the concepts utilized in your various HWs (including HW5). From there, continue by reviewing the concepts covered in the articles we read this semester, and finish off by going back through the slides and lecture audio up here on the course site.

I’ll respond to any and all questions posted below up until next Monday night before the final. Just as a reminder, that final will be Tuesday, April 28th at 4PM! I don’t think it will take the entire time, so make sure you’re here promptly at 4pm so we can finish up early. If there’s a conflict, please let me know THIS WEEK!

Help with Audacity/MP3 and Podcast RSS

We’ll go through the minimal requirements for your HW4 podcast today in class.

No Class on Tuesday

As I mentioned last week, there will be no class this Tuesday, April 7th. Please use this time to work with your partner on HW4. There will, however, be class on Thursday. We’ll be going through posting your podcast, reviewing the answers from Exam 2, and possibly introducing some concepts in scripting.

Exam 2 Grades Posted

They are out of 25 possible points, so each question was worth 4 percentage points. Overall, the results were good, though certainly a little less successful than the first exam. I’ll go through the correct answers on Thursday.

HW3 Submission

THIS is the post for submitting your URL for HW3. Please be sure that the following requirements are met BEFORE posting!

1. You have uploaded both your compressed bitmap and SVG file to your own account on a server
2. You have an <img> tag for the compressed bitmap and an <a href> tag for the SVG.
3. You have checked your page out and are sure it will display correctly on another computer.
4. You have checked your link by using it in a browser before you paste in in your comment.

Good luck, and be sure to post by midnight tomorrow night.

HW2 Grades Posted

The grades for Assignment 2 are now posted at myUCF Grades along with a separate field for comments. The assignment was out of 50 points, and the comments should indicate the general problems how many points were deducted. Problems consisted of things like bad URLs, incorrect HTML, missing CSS, among a few other oddities.

Also, if you received a 0, it is due to either not submitting the HW2 at all, on-time, or in the wrong way (eg. via email). As always, there could be errors in the grading process, so please contact me with any concerns.

Grades Posted

Your grades for HW1 and Exam1 are now posted on myUCF Grades. I’ll be reviewing them both briefly tonight in class, along with moving on to some new material.
